Well, hello there my pretty...
The Queen of Blades had been biding her time carefully, taking extra precaution to protect the pulsating pod that had been growing within her sanctum in the basement.  It was ready now, and she was more than looking forward to causing a little chaos within the house.

One long clawed finger traced lazily down the edge of the pod before she quite forcefully thrust forward, piercing the layer of protection that had grown thin from over-bulging.   Thick green liquid spewed forth, coating and rolling over the creep-covered basement floor, nourishing it even as it was expelled.  A chattering growl could be heard from within the slowly disintegrating pod, and it began to shudder and shake as whatever was within tried to break itself free.

A minute later, and it stood before her - her first spawn in this wretched place.  Her clawed hand reached forward to pet his carapace forehead almost tenderly, and she spoke to it in a guttural purr.

"Let's go, my lovely.  We have things to do."

[OOC: Kerrigan is stalking the house this day shift, with a Zergling at her side. More info on the zergling here. If you would like to encounter her, simply reply here with your character from any place in the house.  I will have her find you and you can interact with her as you please.  She's here to fight, maim, torture, and threaten, so if you would not like her to attack you or you would not like your characters hurt, please inform me in your post.  Thanks, and have fun!]

The Queen raised her eyebrows in surprise before she laughed with musical quality. "Ah, of course. Forgive me."

Her clawed fingernails tapped against the hard shell of the creature's back, each tap sounding like nails against a sheet of metal. "This is a Zergling," she said, her eyes falling down upon her spawn. "They are the smallest creature in my brood, and usually hunt in packs. Bringing one here was a task, but it appears it can be done."

She glances up then, chuckling darkly again. "But one will be plenty for this house at the moment. I don't need to fight an entire war here."

"Interesting." He hummed, tipping his head this way and that as he gazed at the Zergling. So it was possible to drag something into the house, which was an incredible, deadly, terrible idea that spawned a thousand other ones in his mind.

"Imagine what this place would be like with a Hellhound..." He murmured, still staring quite intently at the Zerling, his lips twisting once more. "And tell me, what do you plan on doing with your pet?"

Kerrigan watched Lucifer with keen eyes, enjoying her handiwork being so appreciated. It meant she wouldn't need to send her pet after him, if he enjoyed her work so. Even more reasons to keep him around, and he was just full of surprised.

"So you have pets of your own," she said, the words an acknowledgment as opposed to a question. She leaned forward then, using her pet's armored skull as a sort arm rest. "I'm going to take him for a walk," she said, the thought of violence coloring her tone. The Queen was going to have so much fun.

For a walk. Somehow, that statement could not have sounded more sinister had it come from a demon or even the Devil himself. Oh no, the little exercise she intended to take her pet on sounded quite dangerous and deadly and now he was just intrigued even more. He could only imagine what their fellow residents might do, might say, how they might run or startle at the sight of the creature. And what the zergling might do to them in return.

"I have pets, of course." He said, looking up and down the hall, as if they were top secret pets. "Hellhounds and demons and reapers, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse." Not that she would know what any of those were.

She regarded him with interest as she stood to her full height again. Kerrigan didn't understand the terms he spoke of, though she got a vague sense from his surface thoughts through the mental link they shared. She didn't dig deeper, though. He was being polite enough to not pry, and she didn't require more information unless he decided to turn against her.

"Anyone in particular you'd like me to introduce my spawn to?" she asked, curious. If Lucifer had enemies here, than it was likely they would become hers as well, given their similar attitudes.

And suddenly... The idea perked his interest, his head quirked very slightly to the side and he considered the idea. Oh, that was horrible, using Kerrigan to get at any of the people that might have... irked him. But was it, really? They were probably asking for it, anyways. And she was offering so nicely...

"Your enemies are my enemies." Was his reply. "There are a few people that come to mind, but the politics of their situations are... complicated." He didn't want to get into the entire vessel discussion with someone who more than likely wouldn't understand. "Haven't you made any good enemies?"

The smile that grew upon her lips was not kind, at least to the enemies he spoke of. It was something that she had longed to hear - they truly would make wonderful allies.

"I care little for politics. They do not need to know that you are even involved." It would be better that way, really. "Sadly, no one had decided to visit me. I think I must be frightening to them." And for good reason. It was smart of them to stay away without the means to impress her.

Useless creatures were better of dead.
