- Douglas Adams You wake up in a house. On the outside, it appears to be a mansion, the kind you often see dotting the English countryside. On the inside, it's a mess. Not a mess of food or clothes or, in fact, anything of the physical. Rather, it's a mess of time. The higher you go, the further back you go. Corridors dead-end in the Dark Ages and on Wednesdays the third door on the left always seems to stick in 1956. Someone brought you to the House for a reason. Not because you're a hero, or a villain, or an Average Joe off the street - you could be any of those. No, someone just enjoys watching you squirm as you try to find your footing in this temporal nightmare. You're a rat in the maze of time. Oh, and try not to track 1692 on the carpets. | |||
