She kept her eyes on the blonde as she came forward and kept trying to get more into her head, but it was proving more and more difficult then she thought. Sookie really didn’t like the fact that the hunter stayed back, who knew what he could have been planning.

When Rose finally reached them, Sookie smiled and listened to the exchange of words between Eric and Rose. Sookie wanted to roll her eyes and say something sarcastic to Eric when he introduced her as his human employee, but for once she held back and only gave him a quick look that only she would know about.

"My, you’re pretty," she said with a bit of a giggle, "Eric didn’t mention that bit." She stepped forward and took Rose’s hand in her own. "It’s so nice to meet you, Eric has said some good things," Sookie smiled and held on to Rose’s hand a bit longer then normal. She was trying again to read Rose’s mind, usually if she touched someone, she could get a better read.

Sookie finally let go of Rose’s hand and held back the disappointment and frustration that she felt. Instead she kept a smile plastered on her face like nothing was wrong; she was used to hiding her feelings. When you were a telepath and heard things you weren’t suppose to you had to learn how to control your facial expressions so one would know.
