I'M SORRY I'VE BEEN SOOO BUSY /sob
The wasn't a chance in hell that Sam was going to let Rose go traipsing in alone and the look on his face confirmed it. He wasn't excited about any part of this meeting. Mildly curious, yes, but excited? No. And willing to let her go into what he was 99% sure was a trap? Hell no.

So, walking in the dark (because that seemed to be the norm), he let Rose drag him through the house.

They stopped up by the balcony, moonlight illuminating two figures (two?) against the darkness. Rather dramatic, but Sam expected that kind of thing from vampires. Sure, there was one in a million that didn't want the curse, and actively fought against their instincts, but most of the time it was a lie. And they would use any trick in the book to lure some poor bleeding heart close enough to rip them apart. He'd seen it before and he wouldn't be surprised if he saw it again.

Sam gave Rose a half nod, agreeing to stay back, but only by a few feet as to come off as tall and intimidating as possible. He didn't have his weapon of choice, but guns didn't do much against vampires. Instead he had borrowed Dean's key to the garden shed and found a particularly useful hand saw that currently sat against his chest - hidden by his jacket.
