"There is very little good I can say about the majority of humanity. In general, they are very naive, soft, and selfish. They disrespect each other at any opportunity," he said, shrugging his shoulders. "You should know this better than anyone," he added, tapping a finger to his temple knowingly.

Eric shook his head. "It's as if that ability never existed in the first place." Her excitement about aliens amused him, and he let out a soft chuckle. He wondered if she heard it. "Were you this excited during The Great Reveal?" he mused aloud. "There's plenty more out there than Vampires, Weres and Shifters."

He could feel the warmth radiating off of her human body as she drew closer, and he watched her with a sort of odd fascination. Eric hadn't thought that he would have gotten her to let him drink from her so soon, let alone have her offer first. He shuddered lightly, reigning himself in as his fangs retracted from view.
