WHEN: After Rose finds out about Sam's life story.
WHERE: Around the house and the grounds.
WHAT: Roommate bonding, duh.
WARNINGS: None; will be updated as necessary.
The young woman was still relatively shaken up from all of that insane business a week prior, having trouble sleeping (more than usual), and all of that exciting stuff that came with being in a totally different world than her own. At least, that's what she'd come to understand. It was a lot to take in. And now, with Dawn being there? She had her hands full, her head full... Pretty much everything was out of whack in the world of Buffy Summers, if she were totally honest. The most consistent aspect of anything so far had been her roommate. For their initial disagreements about the world, or whatever the differences between their worlds happened to be, they got along well. Buffy could rely on her. And she wanted to make sure Rose knew that she could rely right back.
She'd gotten Rose something to eat that morning, and kept it in their room until her poor roommate actually woke up. Sam hadn't been too far away, so she didn't feel bad leaving the fellow blond on her own for a few minutes to grab food. However, afterward? Rose needed time with the man. Buffy could understand it, and just took that time to try and gather her own thoughts. They'd be able to spend time afterward.
Afterward happened a lot sooner than she thought it might. They'd agreed on a spot in the house to meet, down on the main floor. After waiting for what seemed like a long enough time, she headed downstairs and leaned against a wall, looking around as she waited for Rose. She knew that conversations didn't exactly have timers attached to them, so she wasn't too bent on whatever the clock happened to say. It wasn't like time had much meaning here, anyway. They couldn't exactly leave, didn't have jobs... They were all just... there. If Rose took too long, she'd shoot her a video to make sure she was alright. Other than that? Buffy wasn't worried.
