The Tower of London, like Windsor Castle, was dirty, decaying, and abandoned. Even the famous ravens were gone. The entry gates stood unguarded, and anyone who walked in would likely find graffiti of arrows, depictions of crowns rendered in spray paint on the walls, or the words 'seek the crown.'

Those who made their way to the Jewel House would find it, like the main entrance, without guard. As soon as they crossed the threshold, the burden from the last checkpoint would be lifted and whomever had borne it would return to their normal state. Inside was a small red flag, identical to the ones that had been at Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Written in red paint on the wall behind it were the words:

CONGRATULATIONS, WINNERS.

The first team to arrive would also find their prizes lying at the base of the flag: for Sherlock, a file of police reports, and for John a lever taken from the TARDIS' control panel. The teams that arrived after them would find nothing, no indication of what had happened to their loved ones. Once they found the finish line, they would begin to feel tired, until they could no longer keep their eyes open and inevitably fell asleep. When they woke, they would find themselves back in the House.
